Drossia Palms Hotel And Nisos Beach Suites - Malia (Crete)

Nice pool area and great beach access, but air conditioning was subpar.

The stay with my family and our precious dog was fantastic! The location was convenient for beach days, and the suite was so cozy, it reminded me of home. I loved how Maria and the team provided tailored advice for exploring local spots.

My wife says that a kids' play area would be great.

Antonio the bar man! Very clean rooms, great pool area. Great for groups of young people that are there for the nightlife as it's set back from the strip slightly so there's less noise.

The room was well-equipped and nicely decorated, it had climate control and a balcony.

Views were not very nice.

The hotel staff were really nice and helpful.

We had a dreadful first night without any reception. The first room was filthy and nothing like the photos online. Cleaning issues like mould in the bathroom made it worse. I couldn't believe the lack of soundproofing.

The pool area is fab, with plenty of sun loungers and a chill vibe. We loved the traditional tavernas nearby, and the beach is just a hop away. We enjoyed relaxing at the bar for cocktails at sunset, a great way to end our days. It's peaceful but close to the lively strip for those wanting a night out.

The staff at the hotel is fantastically friendly and helpful. All the requests we had they solved and all the suggestions they made were excellent. We stayed there for 2 weeks, the hotel is close to the beach, 5 ~ 10 min walk, depending on where you want to go to the beach :) . The pool and the palms are a great combination. Overall we had a great vacation there.

The only downside to the hotel is that it is old, even though it is well maintained and well cleaned, the age of the furniture and appliances ( fridge, tv, ac ...) is quite obvious

Relaxing and romantic hotel, our stay was wonderful.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was reasonably clean with fairly friendly and accommodating staff members. The room we got was modern with a very comfy bed. The view of the sea from the window was breathtaking!

A Relaxing Getaway with Exquisite Service

The breakfast was a good mix of local delights and fresh juices. Especially Maria and Sofia, provided excellent tips and service. Don't miss the peaceful bar area in the garden for a drink.

The pool is great and super close to the beach. Really good for relaxing and very near to bars and restos. No noise inside though

Very lovely hotel with amazing staff, quiet location but near to the malia beach road, close to the beach. Good choice.

Hidden gem near the beach

The room's kitchenette was perfect for quick breakfasts. Waking up each day to the sound of waves was good. The staff offered unparalleled warmth, often checking on our experience.

Went with my boyfriend (both 21) for 2 weeks in August to Malia. Loved Drossia Palms Hotel. Location was great, right on the strip, 2 minute walk to the beach, couldn't of been in a better location. All staff were so welcoming and lovely. Pool area is great, loads of sunbeds, so relaxing. I would definetly recommend this hotel to any one, any age, couples, families or groups. I will definetly be going back to this hotel.
